UMA, in joint venture with Delcan and Hatch Mott MacDonald, have been awarded a 5-year contract to provide Project Management services to the Toronto Transit Commission until 2011.
This Project Management contract involves directing the delivery of TTC’s multi-year, multi-million dollar capital program of approximately $100-$300 million annually, averaging in excess of 40-50 multi-disciplined construction projects with over 50-60 active contracts.
Specific duties include the following:
- Project financial accountability, project cost, schedule and quality management
- Directing and overseeing preparation of the capital budget
- Project control in accordance with the TTC’s budget, scope, schedule and quality assurance requirements
- Managing the design process through the preliminary and detailed design phases
- Managing the preparation of construction contract documents
- Cost analysis and controls
- Estimating and scheduling.
