Since 1996 UMA has worked in partnership with the Vancouver International Airport Authority on the planning, design and implementation of their capital works program. We've completed more than 100 projects including airside and groundside capital improvements as well as annual maintenance works. Groundside projects include development of an airport transportation model, road widenings, new arterial roads, parking improvements, a transit exchange and utility systems. Airside projects include runway, taxiway and apron works, a helipad, de-icing facilities and utility systems.
