In 2006, UMA became ISO 9001 certified. Recognized worldwide as the standard for quality management systems, ISO 9001:2000 is a set of generic management system standards that allow organizations to measure their quality management system through independent audits.

In 2007, KMK Consultants merged with UMA to become part of AECOM in Canada.
